Unlike its towering neighbours, the Villa Maillot focuses on the quality of life, a warm welcome and personal touch. The building was once an embassy; the hotel still shares certain qualities with the world of diplomacy: refinement, courtesy and discretion.
Protected from the hubbub of the busy avenue, and opening onto a lovely interior courtyard with a charrming foutain, this peaceful hotel is a master at the fine art of receiving guests. Those who know the place well will tell you: the hotel excels at paying attention to detail, from the antiques and other lovely decorations chosen by its owner, to the availability of its personnel and its Modernistic Art Deco décor. Patrick Ribes, the hotel´s "maître d'oeuvre" is also responsible for the Royal Club Evian and the Spa at the Trianon Palace In Versailles.

La Villa Maillot is an enchanting place to stay in the high class district. Here you will find top level accommodations in a rather small hotel that can make you feel kind of home away from home... The rooms are really comfortable, nice bathrooms, large screen TV, sound proof double windows and lovely pastel colors on the walls. All rooms are standard except for the three two level suites in the top floor for which I would not particularly care because of the steep stair cases, but for the price difference, these could be appealing if you don't mind the stairs. Also important is the breakfast room, very nice and a wide selection to choose from (not included in the room rate). You will see this hotel has the same rate all year, but these can be negotiable depending on time of year and length of stay, you simply have to ask for it. The hotel is located in the middle of the block, between a car rental and Chinese restaurant and across the street, is a very convenient supermarket (open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
